Mini-hiatus

To those I have unfinished threads with, I'm sorry for having such a slow response time. @_@ I'm overwhelmed with RL issues right now, so I'll be taking a little hiatus. I shall be roleplaying again and pick up where I left off by next week.

So it was suggested to us that we should look into putting up a chat for the game. While we are not at all averse to the idea, there will obviously be a few things that come with this.

If nothing else, we do not want to answer game-related questions in chat. While people can come in and chat about whatever as well (and the mods will likely be in there shooting the breeze with you) we do want to stress this big point. The mods would not be answering any sort of questions or directing the plot through the chat. Formulating plots is fine, but we do would encourage you to use the plotting community as well as the FAQs page for setting these things up. We will not acknowledge plots that have not been posted in the Ongoing Plots page!

And while this goes without saying, linking or talking about things of pornographic nature (basically, if you have to ask, the answer is always no), linking or talking about graphic graphic content or conducting yourself in chat in a way that makes people uncomfortable is not tolerated. We do reserve the right to ask you to leave chat should it get out of hand.

Because we know that there are some people that do not use AIM, we are also considering using IRC for the chat, as this would create a more static chat room. Feel free to comment here with your thoughts on the matter. Default will likely be AIM, but if you have any other suggestions on where the chat is hosted or on other things regarding the chat, feel free to sound off here. Also, if you have questions as to how the chat will be composed, feel free to ask those here as well.

EDIT: We're going to go ahead and make the chat over AIM. If you want to join, the chat name is "imperialsaga". If you need an invite, feel free to ask one of the mods.

Some elf chick..

Wow I sure did take my time getting around to intro'ing this character. (I had to make icons and I've been way too distracted to do that!!)

New games are always so scary to me /)_(\ Beat me out of hiding, you guys. BUUUT before you do, this is Kattu with my second character. I'm bringing in Deedlit from the really old series Record of Lodoss War. Deedlit is an elf who actually spends a lot of time surveying the mortal races. She's going to be pretty difficult to pinpoint in a crowd as she always keeps herself covered, but once she decides to stick around with someone... I feel sorry for them.

I'm looking for anyone who might want some past CR with her. She's over a hundred years old (possibly older in this setting if need be) and is capable of using shamanistic magic. Any faeries, elves, or anything else mystical want to hook up? B)

Intro

Hey, all! New player joining up here, though I think I know a lot of you already.

I go by DL/Wighty and I'm joining up with Roswell of Yggdra Union. For those of you unfamiliar with the canon, you should try the game out since it's a pretty unique little gem. Otherwise, Roswell is an unabashed Necromancer, a descendent of a great sorcerer, and the lord of a small noble house on the outskirts of Dagaria If your character is high up in courtly circles, they may know him as the Black Rose of Branthèse. Roswell's brand of necromancy has no connection with the Rift; neither he is corrupted or immoral or evil. It's simply a tool that he's quite passionately devoted to.

Since necromancy is generally frowned upon by the rest of the world outside of his home of Branthèse, he'll be keeping it quiet for the sake of his own skin, but he will be professing a great interest in studying the Rift, the monsters that come forth from it, and Corruption.

Hello everyone! I just wanted to let everyone know that from this week, until... possibly the end of December, I will be working 60 to 72 hours a week instead of my usual 48. Why does this matter to you, you ask? Because my set days off are usually Wednesday thru Friday, and that's usually when I get a good majority of my tags done.

I'm not sure what's going to happen, some weeks I'll work only Wednesday, others I'll work Wednesday, have Thursday off, and start back to work on Friday again. The point I'm trying to make, is that I'm going to be a bit slow, so I'm gong to ask you all to be patient with me. This is not a hiatus, I just wanted to let everyone know that you aren't being ignored if I don't answer a tag right off the bat, I'm probably just exhausted. <3 Thanks so much for understanding!

and another wow kattu way to spam

Wow I'm just going to spam the community now. Kattu here with my third character, Cornelia li Britannia from Code Geass. In short, she's a racist, ruthless general. Boy, that sounds kind of mean. Let me make it easier with points:

✗ Cornelia is a General (the General? IDEK) of the Amestris army.
✗ She remains stationed near the Rift.
✗ Amusingly enough, she's in an arranged marriage and has been since she was a child. Her suitor is Roy Mustang from Fullmetal Alchemist and the two have known each other since they are children.
✗ Unfortunately, due to military circumstances, they haven't really followed through with said engagement.
✗ Cornelia is nobility. However, her parents were killed when Ishval got violent. She's fairly close to her siblings, the closest one being her younger full sister Euphemia. The rest are all half-siblings and cousins - all of which she would be willing to die for. There isn't a sibling she's willing to overlook.
✗ She may or may not approve of the current leadership of Amestris. Silently waiting for an opportunity and all of that. There's not an ounce of that knowledge known though.
✗ There are two elite forces that answer to her as well as the rest as any lower-ranked military officials. They are the Valkyrie Squadron due to respect (she's trained them herself, but they aren't really under her) as well as the Gaston Knights. The latter is under her call and often are with her when she travels.

That's about all I have for her so far, but as always, I'm willing to plot additional stuff. Just let me know o/
