Intro!

Hello everyone! This is Sin and I'm fresh meat to this game. I'm bringing in an OC named Taryn Shadow-Walker that's strongly based off of White Wolf's Werewolf: the Apocalypse setting.

Just a brief overview:

• Taryn is a werewolf that's cursed and currently unable to return to her human form except under special circumstances, so she's joined with the beastmen, becoming part of their culture.
  
• Taryn hates the Rift and Corruption with a burning passion and wields the artifact Mitternacht - a crystalline hammer of old meant to crush Corruption.
  
• Several years ago, Taryn was part of the Riftguard while hiding her werewolf heritage until one day her family's house was burned the the ground, her parents murdered and Taryn was gone. She is considered a deserter of the Riftguard under her birth name of Taryn Erikson.
  
• She's the Rhya, the leader, of the emerging faction Luna's Call that hold Lerrian.

Would she happen to originally be from Amestris?

Yes. Yes, she is. That puts her as passively part of Amestris unless I read the info wrong. WHICH IS ENTIRELY POSSIBLE.

Strictly speaking, she's probably unaffiliated now that she's deserted.

Just wanted to know, in case it ever comes up in Olivier's presence.

Good to know.^^ As a side note, while in the Riftguard, Taryn never displayed her werewolf side, so she shouldn't be recognizable since she's stuck as a werewolf for the time being. But I expect her being a deserter to come up at some point.

Funny thing, if she'd been serving directly under Olivier, the werewolf thing wouldn't have remotely mattered to her as long as Taryn kept being a good soldier.

Olivier's a little different from the rest of the military, though, so it wouldn't have gone as well with most officers.

Olivier seems like she kicks ass. She's the only thing that makes me contemplate giving Brotherhood a try.

I tried watching an episode I came across On Demand, but it was the dub and I couldn't sit through it. Someday I'm sure I'll find the time to hunt down the sub and watch it.
